AI strategy / Egypt · MENA

AI becomes useful when it understands the work around it.

A capable model is only one part of the system. Useful adoption also needs a real problem, trusted knowledge, clear ownership, human judgment and a way to measure whether the work improved.

01 / Start with the work, not the tool.

Start with the work, not the tool.

Map where time, knowledge or quality is being lost. Identify which tasks benefit from generation, retrieval, classification, analysis or automation. Then ask what data, context, review and organizational change the application requires. The result is a small number of opportunities connected to real work—not a list of fashionable tools.

02

A short list worth pursuing

We examine customer journeys, workflows, knowledge, decisions, content, data and products to identify where AI changes cost, speed, quality or possibility. The goal is not the longest list of use cases. It is a short list worth investing in.

03

What has to be true first?

Leadership intent, data, knowledge, workflows, ownership, team capability, language, review, governance and measurement all affect whether an initiative survives beyond the pilot. Start with a readiness assessment or go deeper through an organizational diagnostic.

04

Do not automate a bad workflow faster

Sometimes the best opportunity is automation. Sometimes it is augmentation. Sometimes the workflow itself should disappear. I help teams look at the work before selecting the model.

05

Knowledge and products

AI becomes useful when an organization understands what it knows, where that knowledge lives, who can trust it and how it should be retrieved or generated. That may lead to an internal knowledge system, research assistant, content workflow or decision-support tool. It may also create an AI-enabled proposition around a real user need, rather than a chatbot added because it is possible.

06

A model can be global. Adoption happens locally.

Arabic quality, dialect, code-switching, organizational hierarchy, customer trust, regulatory context and culturally specific expectations can materially change an AI experience. I bring regional context into the question early—not after the product is finished.

07 / What we can make useful

What we can make useful

  • AI readiness and opportunity assessment
  • Use-case selection and prioritization
  • Knowledge and data requirements
  • Workflow and role redesign
  • Human review and quality boundaries
  • Arabic and regional evaluation
  • Pilot brief and measures of value
  • Adoption, learning and governance rhythm

08 / Experience behind the practice

The practice combines institutional transformation with product, growth and content work. At CAPMAS, I led transformation work inside a major Egyptian public institution. At Infosysta, I worked on international growth for Atlassian products through SEO and content; around App4Legal, my responsibilities included marketing and product development. These are practical foundations for AI-enabled change.

09 / Questions before we start

Questions before we start

What does AI consulting include?

We identify where AI can create value, what must change across work, people, knowledge and governance, and turn that into practical decisions and next moves.

Do you work with organizations outside Egypt?

Yes. The practice works across Egypt and MENA, bringing language, cultural, governance and market differences into the strategy from the start.

Do you sell or build AI tools?

I help decide what deserves investment and shape the right use case or product. Delivery can happen with your team or with an appropriate technical partner.

How is this different from an AI demo?

A demo answers what a tool can do. Strategy asks whether it should, for whom, what must change around it, and how value and risk will be measured.

How does an engagement start?

We begin with the question and decision in front of you. The next step might be an opportunity map, readiness assessment, leadership workshop or deeper diagnostic.
